Highest pay — with a real tradeoff
Organs, tissue, and life-saving cargo on time-critical missions. The Dallas "On Board PRN" role means you fly as the personal escort with the cargo.
The tradeoff is real: you're called between midnight and 4:00 AM, dispatched same-day, and typically home by evening. It won't combine with a fixed morning specimen route. Treat it as a high-margin supplement or a specialization to grow into — not a week-one base.
Van or CDL required — plan for these, don't count on them

Platforms worth signing up for
- Roadie (a UPS company) — five-minute signup, no minimum vehicle standard, often verified within hours. Best for immediate cash flow while medical routes line up.
- Senpex — confirmed with an active Frisco, TX posting, right in the northern growth corridor.
- Curri — waitlist-based; apply now so you're in the queue when demand opens.
Onfleet Driver and CXT Courier Driver are dispatch software that courier companies issue to their own drivers. You can't apply to either. Seeing them in a posting is a good sign the company is organized — but the job comes from the company.
Lensa is a job aggregator, not an employer. It republishes listings from 50,000+ sources, and "Apply" often redirects to a third-party staffing portal. Known for stale listings and data sharing. Treat any listing as a lead: find the company's own careers page and apply there. Never submit your license, insurance, or SSN through an aggregator redirect.
Names that circulate but don't check out
These appear on courier forums and listicles. As of this research, none resolved to a verifiable DFW medical courier hiring contractors:
- Priority Dispatch — operates only in Ohio and Michigan
- Greyhound Package Express — shut down around 2021–2022
- Beeline — the courier by that name is in Anchorage, Alaska; a separate Bee-Line Delivery is in Houston
- Dash Logistics — resolves to an El Paso logistics firm and a Carolinas/Georgia courier; neither serves DFW
- Quality Biomedical — appears to be device servicing, not courier
- Lab Express, Medical Delivery Service, Courier Med, MDS — these are search terms, not companies. Save them as job alerts.
An important caveat: "not verified" means no DFW operation hiring contractors could be confirmed — not that the company doesn't exist. Small local outfits often have minimal web presence. If one appears on a real posting with a Dallas or Fort Worth address, vet it normally.
The specialization almost nobody pursues
Three companies here independently pay premiums for the same thing: Airspace states TSA certification unlocks airport pickups at elevated rates, Life Couriers runs Next Flight Out near Love Field with TSA-certified drivers, and Medi-Ops couriers fly as escorts.
DFW has two major air cargo hubs. Almost no solo courier gets TSA certified — which is exactly why it pays. Not a week-one move, but once base routes are running it's the single upgrade most likely to move you toward the top of the range.
How to actually get hired
- Apply to 8–12 companies in one sitting. Onboarding timelines vary wildly; volume beats selectivity at this stage.
- Have your documents ready — license, insurance, MVR, HIPAA and OSHA certificates. Companies that move fast reward candidates who move fast.
- Sort out insurance first. Several companies require coverage that doesn't exclude business use. Showing up without it stalls onboarding.
- Say yes to the first route offered, then get selective once you have data on what actually pays.
